It is being advised by the U. S. Department of Homeland Security that Americans should not use IE web browser for a time being as a serious security flow has been found. This bug was announced on last Saturday by an internet security software company named FireEye Research Labs.
This security flaw makes it easy for malicious hackers to create trouble for security protections in Windows OS. This can be infected at the time of using a compromised site. Users can avoid it by turning off Adobe Flash, as this hack uses corrupted Adobe Flash file to attack the computer. This bug affects the version 6 to 11 of Internet Explorer. Although, it is targeting version 9 and 10.
According to FireEye, hackers are calling their operation ‘Operation Clandestine Fox’. Microsoft has confirmed that it is working to fix the issue. Symantec has issued a solution tool for XP users on its blog as Microsoft has stopped support for XP.
